IPv4 and IPv6 Enabled
Our MPLS carrier grade network supports IPv4 and IPv6 in a non-dual stack and dual stack configuration.
Full, Partial or Default Routes
We're able to offer full Global Internet routes, Partial routes which includes all of our bilateral peering relationships with ISPs, NSPs (Network Service Providers) and Content Providers from the UK, Europe and across the the world. Whats more if you prefer we can announce a single default route towards your BGP capable device.
Static Routing or BGP
We support both Static Routing and BGP routing, therefore if your device doesn't support BGP we can statically route your prefixes as required. If your device does however support BGP, but you have limited memory we can announce default routes. If your device has the required memory (1024 Mbytes or more) to maintain the global routing table, we then pass all routes to your device.

When dicussing your requirements with your account manager, please ensure you specify either; Static Routing along with the prefixes, BGP Default Route, BGP Partial Routes or BGP Full Global Routes.
Uncontended
We manage our low latency, high speed, highly peered, business only network to ensure there is always 50% spare capacity. Adding addtional capacity and peering with third parties where necessary, to ensure we maintain an uncontented network service to our customers.

Free Setup
We don't charge a setup fee for IP Transit. The data centre facility may however charge a setup fee for the cross connect cabling between Exascale and your equipment.

We can help with arranging Cross Connects (also known as xconnect) within the chosen Data Centre facility, and often are able to obtain better pricing than you apporching the data centre facility directly yourselves.
High Capacity Ports
Physical Layer 1 ports from 1Gbit/s through to 10Gbit/s. We support the use of port channels, also known as LAGs (Link Aggregation) to enable the aggregation of multiple physical layer 1 interfaces into one single logical interface. This enables higher bandwidths beyond 1 or 10Gbit/s, for example a LAG with two 10Gbit/s interfaces would result in a 20Gbit/s logical interface.
Use your own RIPE LIR resources
If you choose to use BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) routing over static routing, you can use your own RIPE LIR allocated resources. All we ask is that you create the associated routes within the RIPE DB for your ASN (Autonomous System Number). This enables us to automate the configuration of our import/inbound prefix filters.
Low CDR commits available
We're able to provide CDRs (Committed Data Rates) from as low as 10Mbit/s through to 10Gbit/s. Whats more our minimum IP Transit physical port size is 1Gbit/s, so if your on a CDR Burst contract you can burst even if your only commiting 10Mbit/s!

IPv4 and IPv6 Addressing

We allocate IP addresses according to our customers’ IP Transit needs, RIPE guidelines and justification requirements. We charge a monthly fee for IPv4 allocations whereas IPv6 addresses are allocated free of charge, we do require that IP address usage is warranted according to RIPE policy.

Best Path Routing

We route all traffic to its destination via the shortest path, this could either be via our extensive bilateral peering relationships or Tier 1 IP Transit partners.

24/7 Monitoring

We monitor our network 24/7 to maintain our impeccable uptime and high speed IP Transit service. We also provide real time portal access to monitor and evaluate current and past bandwidth usage, enabling you to plan your future usage.

Service Level Agreement

In the unfortunate event that you are to experience a loss of your service. We provide service/SLA credits from the very first second of the outage.

What is CDR Burst?

Using the CDR Burst model you decide how much bandwidth (CDR) you require based on your current and anticipated usage. We set your CDR to the chosen rate but allow you to burst above it allowing for peaks in usage up to your maximum physical port speed.

As long as your usage falls below your CDR during the charging period you won’t pay any extra. If your usage goes over the agreed CDR we will produce a new statement based on the amount used over the agreed CIR and you will be billed as per the 95th Percentitle accordingly.

What is CDR Standard?

Unlike the CDR burst, it is more important to accurately calculate the CDR Standard rate you think you will need. You wont be able burst beyond your CDR and you may experience packet loss during unexpected peak periods. If you're unable to predict your usage, we recommend the CDR burst model.

What is the 95th Percentitle Billing?

The 95th percentile (also known as the burst billing model) is a mathematical calculation used to evaluate regular and sustained usage of a network connection. The 95th percentile gives a customer a short (less than 36 hours) burst in traffic without overage charges per calander month.

In simple terms 95th Percentile billing means you will only pay for sustained usage not in-frequent burst usage.
