Cooling technology

Innovative hot and cold containment systems, ecologically responsible cooling technology to 2N standards. Achieving 1.2 PUE whereas the data centre average is 1.8 PUE.

Structured cabling systems

To ensure 100% data centre efficiency, a structured cabling system is employed to ensure air flow is at its optimum, while using the latest fibre and CAT6 category cabling systems.

High speed connectivity

High speed 10 Gigabit Ethernet Tier 1 global transits across the globe and public peering at UK and European Internet Exchanges.

Raised floor

Rather than flooding the data centre floor with cold air, a cold aisle containment system is used along with a 1 metre raised floor.

Fire suppression

Waterless fire suppression systems are used throughout our data centres; FM200 is used in power and comm rooms and Inergen gas used on data floors.

Proactive fire sensors

Fire protection systems monitor the data centre facility 24/7 and raise an early alarm to mitigate any possibilities of a fire.

Innovative fire alarm systems ensure your investment is 100% safe with Exascale in our secure data centres.

Backup power generators

Each data centre boasts; 2N gas turbines and diesel power generation on site, which will immediately take over if the grid was to fail. Local fuel suppliers are on standby 24/7 if a grid failure was to continue over an extended period of time.

Backup UPS systems

The data centre facility is protected by an extensive Riello 15 minute autonomy UPS backup power system, along with 64AMP north and south power feeds into dual switched APC PDUs as standard.

High security

24/7/365 on-site data centre security, secure gated fenced access and classified camera and access control systems.
